DailyTarot is a content site. We do not require an account to browse the tarot card library or use the reading surfaces currently available on the site.
Effective date: May 13, 2026.
What We Store In Your Browser
Daily card and reading stateDaily card and reading tools may store card slugs, dates, selected question types, notes, review text, and saved spread summaries in your browser so the experience can continue on the same device.
Journal import and exportThe Tarot Reflection Journal is local to your browser. If you export a journal file, the file is created on your device. If you import a journal file, the site reads that file in your browser and merges valid entries into local storage.
No account profileWe do not ask you to create a login, and we do not maintain a personal tarot reading history tied to an account.
Third-Party Delivery
Card image hostingTarot card images and related assets are served from our image CDN at `img.dailytarot.org`, which may process standard request logs needed to deliver the files.
Infrastructure logsLike most websites, the hosting and CDN providers may record IP address, user agent, referrer, and request timing for security, caching, and operational debugging.
Contact emailIf you email us, we receive the information you choose to include in the message so we can respond to the request.
Cookies, Analytics, Retention, And Choices
Cookies and analyticsDailyTarot does not require an account. The site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate page usage, referrers, device/browser context, and basic engagement patterns. These tools may set analytics cookies or use similar identifiers depending on the browser and regional settings.
How to limit analyticsYou can use browser privacy settings, tracker blocking tools, or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to reduce analytics collection where supported. These controls are managed by your browser and the analytics provider, not by a DailyTarot account.
RetentionLocal journal data stays in your browser until you delete it, clear browser storage, or use the Clear Journal control. Infrastructure and analytics records are retained by the relevant service providers according to their operational settings.
Your requestsYou may contact us to ask for correction, deletion, or clarification about information you believe we hold. Because journal data is stored locally, deleting it usually means clearing it in your own browser.
Policy updatesWe may update this page as the product changes. Material changes should be reflected here before new data collection behavior is relied on in production.
